What is NetPhonePlug?
NetPhonePlug is a service that allows its users to make telephone calls via
Internet with extremely advantageous rates, especially for international calls.
How can NetPhonePlug provide such low rates?
Our international rates are among the most convenient because with our VoIP
systems we are able to use less expensive routes than those used
with traditional calling plans.
How does the system developed by IPKOM work?
Unlike traditional telephone communications systems where the entire phone call
travels across traditional phone lines, our system is routed over the interned to the
destination country where it is then reconverted into a traditional phone call and
forwarded to the desired receiver.

VoIP is the technology used to send “Voice” signals over the Internet.

telephones, switchboards and cordless phones).

an Internet connection (ADSL or similar).

rates vary depending on the service provider of the mobile phone.
For detailed information on worldwide rates please see the section
Can I receive calls on my VoIP phone?
At this time it is possible to receive calls only from other VoIP phones,

In order to make VoIP calls you need the following: an Internet connection (ADSL or similar),
a VoIP device or telephone, and a VoIP line furnished by
www.NetPhonePlug.comI have a company with a number of traditional
phones and a switchboard (BPX). Is it possible to convert all of these existing phones
into VoIP phones?
YES, it is possible to convert all of your existing phones into VoIP phones; to do so you
need a VoIP device (included in the OFFICE KIT). Once this is connected to the switchboard,
it will allow the existing phones to make calls either via VoIP or with traditional lines
(using your existing phone company). For further information on this type of configuration,
please see the section
FIGURE.If I want to discontinue service
in the future, what do I have to do?
Renewal of our VoIP service is not automatic—service
is only continued after the client has made payment for the annual
subscription fee. If you do not wish to continue service, you simply
do not renew your subscription.
How many phone calls can I make at the same time with
one ADSL connection?
With a 640 Kb/s Downstream ADSL connection you can make up to 8
calls simultaneously (you need a VoIP line for each phone call) since
each call occupies a maximum of 12kbt/s of IP bandwidth. However, to have
an optimal quality we suggest you avoid making more than 4 calls simultaneously,
if possible. |
